Crestwood's Annual Independence Day Celebration

Special Note: All package prices are per couple. Discounted rates may be available for groups of four or more. Excludes taxes, gratuities and alcoholic beverages and may not be combined with any other offer. This package is for the night of Thursday, July 3, 2008 and is subject to availability.

Reservations: All package reservations require a deposit of one night's stay per person or 50% of the entire stay, whichever is greater. Any cancellations must be made one week prior to your scheduled arrival in order to receive a full refund of your deposit. In the event that you must cancel within one week of your arrival date, we will issue you a gift certificate in the amount of the deposit, minus a $50 administrative fee, to be used at a later date. To insure availability, spa and dining reservations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Refunds are not available for unused portions of the package.

Rising Culinary Star Joins the Inn at Crestwood as Executive Chef

The Inn at Crestwood is pleased to announce Executive Chef Charles E. Nelson as the latest addition to the inn's management team. A Marriott and Ritz Carlton veteran, Nelson brings nearly 13 years of hands-on food and beverage experience to the Inn.

In his new role, Nelson will oversee the menu of The Table at Crestwood and will also direct the culinary team's growing number of private events, banquets and group functions.

"We are excited and fortunate to have such an accomplished and innovative chef leading our culinary team," said Mandy Poplin, Director of Operations for The Inn at Crestwood. "His accomplished background and contemporary culinary approach will continue to position the inn as a top dining destination for guests and the local community alike."

Prior to joining The Inn at Crestwood, Nelson served as the executive chef of Storie Street Grille in Blowing Rock, NC. Throughout his career, Nelson has been featured in various publications including Charlotte Weekly, Charlotte Observer, Anonymous Gourmet and Extremechefs.com. Additionally he is a past winner of the Fire on the Rock Chef's Challenge, Charlotte Taste of the Nation Award and Best Dish in North Carolina.

Nelson received a degree in culinary science from Le Courdon Bleu in Scottsdale, AZ.

Crestwood Friends and Family Night

Come join us in the next Friends and Family Night at the Inn at Crestwood on Friday, May 30th. We will be featuring live music and drink specials. Mark your calendar, invite a friend and plan to stay for dinner! (Prior dinner reservations are highly recommended.)

"Parent's Night Out" will be provided for children 2 - 13 from 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. at Crestwood. The cost is $11 for each child for two hours and $22 for four hours. Evening will include a craft, snack, games and a movie. Reservations for Childcare are required by April 26th via email to info@crestwoodnc.com.
