Crestwood
has welcomed a new face to its family. Brodie Andrew has joined the
Crestwood staff as the Inn's new general manager and he has high hopes
to bring Crestwood to new heights.
Brodie grew up on a farm in Snow Camp, NC with his three brothers,
Dewey, Tommy and Howard. "On the farm we raised cows, pigs, sheep,
chickens, turkeys and sometimes a little hell," Brodie said.
Coming to Crestwood from Lake Wylie, SC, Brodie is 57-years-old and
is the father of two children: a daughter, Amanda Bradshaw, and a son,
Brent. He is also married to his bride of about 12 years, Lori. Andrew
has a love for pets, owning two Jack Russell Terriers named Peanut and
Freckles.
One of Brodie's many passions is for sports. He has been a
basketball official for 35 years and has called games at all levels
throughout his career. He is also a softball official. He has been
registered with the ASA for 25 years.
Travel is another passion for Brodie. He and his wife enjoy taking
cruises and have snorkeled in various areas of the Caribbean. Brodie
has just returned from his most recent cruise to the Panama Canal Zone.
He has visited 49 of the 50 states and plans to visit Hawaii within the
next two years to complete his goal. Brodie also enjoys coin and stamp
collecting.
Brodie attended Western Carolina University where he obtained an
Undergraduate and Graduate Degree in Health and Physical Education. He
notes that WCU is where he fell in love with the High Country.
Brodie has worked in various fields throughout his life. He has
taught, worked in hospitality and in the warehouse industry. In the
future, Brodie and his wife hope to retire and move to the North
Carolina Coast.
